A resident bird, grey heron, found at a pond of Zenpukuji Park in NISHIOGI in the late morning.

Perhaps taking a rest after breakfast, the bird spread one of its wings wide to preen and then began to peer into the pond by stretching its neck. Hasn’t it had enough to eat?

お昼前、西荻の善福寺公園の「下の池」で見つけた留鳥の「アオサギ（青鷺）」。

朝食後の一服なのか、片方の羽を大きく広げて羽繕いをしたかと思えば、首を長く伸ばして池の中を覗き込み始めました。まだ、食べたりないのでしょうか？
