NISHIOGI GUIDE WITH HANDS-ON EXPERIENCES

What’s Nishiogi, a volunteer guide group in NISHIOGIKUBO, welcomed international guests and enjoyed walking around town.

Our group member’s four friends from different countries toured the NISHIOGI north course including hands-on experiences of kimono dressing and origami or the art of paper folding.

When the two models put on formal kimonos, “Houmongi with Fukura Suzume Obi” (Visiting Kimono with Fukura Suzume Belt) and “Montsuki Haori Hakama” (Crested Short Coat and Hakama), participants cheered and said, “That’s wonderful!”

西荻窪のボランティアガイドグループのWhat’s Nishiogiは,国際色豊かなゲストをお迎えし、西荻の街歩きを楽しみました。

グループメンバーの、4か国のお友達には、着付けおよび折り紙の体験を含む西荻北コースを巡っていただきました。

着付けの体験では、モデルのお二人のフォーマルな「訪問着＆ふくら雀帯」および「紋付き羽織袴」の姿に参加者から「素敵！」との歓声が上がっていました。
