BIRD THAT REMAINS CALMLY

The bird remained motionless, perched on a post in the pond.

A kingfisher found in the afternoon at the “Upper Pond” in Zenpukuji Park in NISHIOGI.

It seemed as if the spot-billed duck came closer and called out to it, “Gwe-gwe!”, but the kingfisher didn’t respond at all, as if it didn’t care, perhaps because it was taking a break after eating.

悠然と構える鳥

じっと池の中の杭にとまったまま動じませんでした。

昼下がり、西荻の善福寺公園の「上の池」で見つけた「カワセミ」。

「カルガモ」が近づいてきて、”グエグエ”と声がけしたように感じましたが、「カワセミ」は、食後の休憩時間だったのでしょうか、我関せず、とばかり全く反応しませんでした。
