CHERRY TREE IN FULL BLOOM

The cherry blossom front has reached NISHIOGI!

This cherry tree is located on the side of Kyufudo. It has long been watching change in this area and is preserved by Suginami ward under the protection designation system. Its trunk is over 1.2m in circumference measured at the height of 1.5m above the ground.

Why don’t you enjoy full blossoms while strolling on this road where there are many distinctive shops, or while eating “anmitsu”, sitting on the bench of the sweets shop “Amaikko” in front of the tree?

旧府道の桜

桜前線、西荻に到達。長年旧府道の変遷を見守っている杉並区指定の保護桜。1.5ｍの高さで測った幹の周囲は1.2ｍ以上。

満開のソメイヨシノを、個性的な店が並ぶこの通りをぶらぶら歩きながら愛でるもよし、目の前にあるスイーツの店「甘いっ子」のベンチに座って「あんみつ」でも食べながら見とれるもよし。
