OLD TURRET CLOCK

A long-established antique shop in NISHIOGI, selling various kinds of clocks, watches as well as miscellaneous goods.

The displayed nostalgic turret clock was made in Edo period (1603-1867).

Observe closely the time board. It is expressed in the twelve signs of the Chinese zodiac based on the time system in those days.
