OPTIMUM-SIZED PLATES

Special wit-rich display called Seven-Five-Three Exhibition held at an online shopping store near the north exit of NISHIOGIKUBO station.

To the customers’ frequent question, “What is the most usable-sized container?”, 18 energetic ceramists have responded by making plates with the following messages: main or larger-sized plates with seven-sun (about 21cm), standard-sized ones with five-sun (about 15cm) and smaller-sized ones with three-sun (about 9cm) in diameter are the most suitable plates for individual helpings of food.

西荻窪駅北口近くのオンラインショッピングの店で開催されたウィットに富む企画展示会（「七五三展」）。

「一番使いやすい器のサイズは？」との顧客の質問に、18人の気鋭の陶芸家が、直径「七寸・五寸・三寸」のサイズの銘々皿作品で答えたもの。

メイン用や大きめの銘々皿は七寸（約21㎝）、基本サイズの銘々皿は五寸（約15㎝）、何枚あっても便利な小さな銘々皿（豆皿）は三寸（約9㎝）、のものが最適とのメッセージだ。
