Are you considering venturing to go into a tiger’s den next year?
2022 is “Tora-doshi” or the year of the tiger. It is the third of the twelve Chinese zodiac signs called Junishi.
Tora-doshi is believed to be the following: the more sever it gets in winter, the more vital buds become in spring and bear full fruit after a period of time.
An English proverb says, nothing ventured, nothing gained. In 2022, it would be better to steadily progress with measures against Covid-19, rather than gain momentum of riding a tiger.

みなさん、来年は虎のいる岩穴に入ろうとお考えですか？
2022年の干支は「壬寅（みずのえとら）」。「寅＝虎」は、通称十二支のうち3番目の名称。
壬寅年の特徴は、冬が厳しいほど春の芽吹きは生命力にあふれ、華々しく生まれる年になること、といわれる。
「虎穴に入らずんば、虎子を得ず」ということわざがあるが、新年は、騎虎の勢いよりもコロナ対策をしつつ着実に前進するのがよいのではないか？
