What is it about these flowers that attracts insects?

Higanbana and Shirobana-higanbana(Red spider lilies and their related species) found by a pond of Zenpukuji Park in NISHIOGI.

They are still in full bloom, even though Autumnal Equinox Day is over. They seem to want to live with insects such as a mantis and a butterfly as long as possible.

善福寺公園の池畔で見つけた「ヒガンバナ（彼岸花）」およびその近縁種の「シロバナヒガンバナ」。

秋分の日は過ぎましたが、なお満開です。そして、カマキリや蝶などの昆虫との共生をできるだけ長く,と望んでいるようです。
