The hollow cubic lamps with washi or traditional Japanese paper have battery-powered LED lights instead of candles inside.
The storekeeper commented,” Earthquakes often occur in Japan. Once the disasters happen, candles easily fall to cause fires, and power outages can also come at once. Customers have requested to solve these problems. Craftspeople have handled the requirements with these works, which would contribute to ensuring safety and security because the rooms don’t get dark.”

和紙を張った立方体の中に、ロウソクの代わりに電池式のLEDライトが置かれます。
店主コメント「日本では地震が多いです。ロウソクはその際すぐ倒れて火災を起こしかねず、危険です。電気もすぐ停電します。これらの問題に対応できるものを作ってほしい、とのお客様のニーズに対応したもので、部屋が暗くならず安心です。」
