西荻の雪化粧
新年早々、雪国ではない西荻も予想以上の積雪に見舞われたが、子供たちは喜んだようです。
西荻にある「六童子」のひとつ、この「おすもう童子」（彫刻家・籔内佐斗司作）がにらみ合っているのは、相手の力士ではなく雪だるまです。
相撲は日本の国技で、正月に初場所があり、本年は1月9日（日）が初日となっています。コロナ禍の中、力士は力相撲を取って皆さんを元気づけてほしいものです。
