How colorful these flowers are!

“Arusutoromeria” (another name, Yurizuisen) or Lily of the Incas planted beside the gate of a home in NISHIOGI.

The flowers originated in South America and are perennials. The height is about 80 cm.

The petals are characterized by various colors and patterns with brown stripes. The leaves are twisted 180 degrees at their roots, so the upper and under sides of those leaves are reversed.

The flower language of Alstroemeria is, for example, maintenance or yearning for the future.
