Do you congratulate heroes with these flowers?

Flowering trees called nouzenkazura, or trumpet creepers growing over the block fence of a private home in NISHIOGI.

The tree is a deciduous vine, and the length is 3-10m. It originated in China and is said to have been brought to Japan in the Heian period (794-1185).

The appearance of the trumpet-shaped flowers with brilliant orange-red colors reminds people of the musical instrument used for playing a fanfare to congratulate heroes or winners, so the plant is called trumpet creeper in Europe and America.

The association leads to the flower language, for example, fame or glory.
