How about boiling them for about 40 minutes, cutting the skins in half with a knife and scooping them out with a spoon to taste?

Late-ripening Japanese chestnuts called “Ishizuchi” cultivated and harvested on the well-known farm in NISHIOGI in 2023; these chestnuts were grown with chemical-free natural farming.

The name is said to have come from “Mt. Ishizuchi” in Ehime Prefecture, where the chestnut cultivation was expected to become popular.

“Ishizuchi” are characterized by their large size, sticky sweetness and long shelf life, so they are said to be the main ingredient in “Autumn’s Appetite.”
