DYNASTY’S ELEGANT ATTIRE

Visitors have been captivated by the beauty of Japan symbolized by a graceful kimono.

A spring event called “Dynasty Hinamatsuri” held in a kimono store near the north exit of NISHIOGIKUBO Station in the afternoon on March 5, 2023.

Two emonja or dressers have dressed Juni-hitoe or “Twelve layers” to finish a figure looking forward to cherry blossoms bloom; the attire was a formal costume of court ladies in the Heian Period (794-1185).

雅な王朝装束

優美なきもので彩る日本の美に見とれました。

2023年3月5日（日）午後、西荻北地区の着物店で開催された「王朝雛祭り」と題する春のイベント。

2人の衣紋者（えもんじゃ）による「十二単」―平安時代の女官の正装―の着付けは、桜の開花を心待ちにする姿に仕上がりました。
