FLOWERS FULL OF FLUFFINESS

The flowers look like the thin, dense tentacles of a sea anemone.

“Riatorisu” or Dense blazing star planted in a flower bed in front of a welfare facility in the southwestern part of NISHIOGI.

The plants originated in North America and are perennials. The height is 60-150cm.

It is said that the flowers bloom from the top to the bottom of the long, spear-like stalks and attract honeybees.

Incidentally, the flower language of “Riatorisu” is, for example, ardent love or ambition.

ふわふわ感に満ちた花

イソギンチャクの触手のような細く密集した花です。

西荻の南西地区の福祉施設前の花壇に植栽されている「リアトリス」。
北米原産の多年草。草丈は60～150cm。

花は、細長い槍のような花軸の上から下に向かって咲き、ミツバチを誘引すると言われます。

因みに、花言葉は、「燃える思い」「向上心」など。
