Don’t you think these flowers resemble the pattern on the heads of the 50-yen coin?

“Kogiku” or small chrysanthemum, a member of Japan’s representative flower family, planted in flowerpots in the flowerbed of a home in NISHIOGI.

The chrysanthemum is Japan’s national flower along with the spring cherry blossom (Yamazakura) and is also the coat of arms of the Imperial Family.

Incidentally, the flower language of “Kogiku” is, for example, truth.

菊は、春の「サクラ（ヤマザクラ）」とともに日本の国花であり、皇室の紋章にもなっています。
