The Shinko-sai festival held by Igusa Hachimangu Shrine in the northwestern part of NISHIOGI for the first time in six years on October 8, 2023; the festival celebrated the 30th anniversary of the marriage of Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress.
The splendid procession featuring a large drum with lantern bearers on it and a mikoshi decorated with a golden phoenix went around the shrine’s parishioner area starting from Ome Kaido.
奉祝の大行列

2023年10月8日、「天皇皇后両陛下御成婚三十年」を奉祝して6年ぶりに実施された、西荻・北西地区の井草八幡宮の神幸祭。
提灯持ちの人が乗った大太鼓や金色の鳳凰を飾った神輿などを連ねた華麗な行列が青梅街道はじめ氏子地域を巡りました。
