Cute but scary works have also been displayed.
An exhibition titled “Okaeri Satou Kaori-Ten” (July 12-July 30, 2023) held in a gallery near the south exit of NISHIOGIKUBO Station.
The exhibitor commented, “I have been working on a series of acrylic gouache works for 15 years. I have exhibited recent three years of works all at one time. I hope you will enjoy the depth of works while looking back on the past. Furthermore, I published puzzle picture books such as this “Home” in response to the needs of a British publisher a few years ago.”
連作による振り返り
かわいいが怖い作品も展示されていました。
JR西荻窪駅南口の近くのギャラリーで開催された展覧会（「『おかえり』佐藤香苗展」）（2023.7.12～7.30）。
出展者のコメント「15年前からアクリル・ガッシュによる連作に取り組んできましたが、このうち最近３年間の作品を一挙に展示させていただきました。過去を振り返りながらの作品の厚みを楽しんでいただければと思います。また、数年前、英国の出版社のニーズに応えてパズル絵本（例えば、このHome）を出版しました。」
