MEETING IN DREAMS

Here are works depicting wandering figures looking for an important person.

An exhibition titled “dormi Tani Konatsu-Ten” (April 19-May 7, 2023) held in a gallery near the south exit of NISHIOGIKUBO Station.

The artist commented, “Dormi is an Esperanto word meaning ‘sleep’. I want to meet my favorite late grandfather. With this strong desire, I have drawn pictures of myself searching for my grandfather and the figures of my grandfather in my dreams with a black pen, and have made them into a series.”

JR西荻窪駅南口の近くのギャラリーで開催された展覧会（「『dormi』谷小夏展」）（2023.4.19～5.7）。

作者のコメント「dormiとはエスペラント語で、「ねむる」という意味です。大好きな亡きおじいちゃんに会いたい。その強い願いから、夢の中でおじいちゃんを探している自分の姿とおじいちゃんの姿を黒のペンで描き,これらをシリーズ化しました。」
