Many works related to Christmas and next year’s zodiac sign, the dragon, were also on display.
On Sunday, November 26, 2023, the last handmade market of the year was held in Iogi hall. Forty-four exhibitors overall took part in the event.
Take this skirt with the pattern of the dragon, the zodiac of 2024, for example. The exhibitor commented,” This was originally a cotton batik rug, but I added gathers to transform it into a skirt.”
According to the same exhibitor, the slightly shortened pure silk Furisode, or long-sleeved kimono is 20 years old, but she would like to remake it into a dress for party.

クリスマスや来年の干支の辰に因んだ作品も多く展示されていました。
2023年11月26日（日）、井荻會舘で開催された本年最後の「西荻手しごと市」。出展者は計44店。
例えばこの来年の干支（辰）模様のスカート。出展者の言「これは、もともと木綿のろうけつ染めの敷物でしたが、ギャザーを入れてスカートに変身させました。」また、その出展者によれば、このやや短くした正絹製の振袖は20年前のものですが、パーティー用のワンピースに作り替えたいとのことです。
