PINWHEEL-LIKE FLOWERS

It looks like the flowers are about to turn in the spring breeze.

“Kuremachisu-ranuginosa” or Woolly clematis planted in a flower bed in front of a house in the northwestern part of NISHIOGI.

The flower is a deciduous vine originated in China. The stem can grow up to 3m in length.

Incidentally, the flower language of clematis is, for example, mental beauty or traveler’s joy.

西荻北地区の民家前の花壇に植栽されている「クレマチス・ラヌギノーサ」。

中国原産のつる性落葉樹。茎の長さは3mにもなるそうです。

因みに、「クレマチス」の花言葉は、例えば、精神の美、旅人の喜び、など。
