The long-awaited Autumn Festival in NISHIOGIKUBO has reopened for the first time in four years at various locations.
The Regular Festival held by Kasuga Shrine in the southeastern part of NISHIOGI (September16-17, 2023).
On the eve of the main festival on the 16th, members of Oomiyamae Folk Performing Arts Preservation Society performed Sato-Kagura or sacred Shinto music and dances such as “Suminoe Sanjin.”
At the main festival on the 17th, many people carried mikoshi or sacred potable shrines and paraded through some major shopping streets in NISHIOGI, including the Ityukaichi Kaido, with stirring shouts.
西荻秋祭りの再開
待望の西荻の秋祭りが域内のあちこちで4年ぶりに再開されました。
西荻の南東地区の春日神社の例大祭（9月16日＜土＞～17日＜日＞）。
16日の宵宮では、大宮前郷土芸能保存会のメンバーによる里神楽（「住之江三神＜すみのえさんじん＞など）が演じられました。そして、17日の本祭では、多くの人々が迫力ある掛け声とともに神輿を担いで五日市街道をはじめ、西荻のいくつかの主要な商店街を練り歩きました。
