Congratulations on the reopening of the long-awaited summer festival in NISHIOGIKUBO!

The Bon Odori Festival organized by NISHIOGI Ichibangai Shopping Association was reopened for the first time in four years at NISHIOGI Kita Chuo Park on August 2nd and 3rd, 2023 (19:00-21:00).

A surprisingly large number of citizens gathered and danced lively to several tunes such as “Tokyo Ondo” and “Hanagasa Ondo” as if they had vented their frustrations that had accumulated due to Covid-19 pandemic. Children also tried goldfish scooping.

西荻夏祭りの再開

待望の西荻夏祭りが再開されました。

西荻一番街商店会主催の「納涼盆踊り大会」が8月2日、3日の両日夜（19:00-21:00）、西荻北中央公園で4年ぶりに開催されました。

びっくりするほど多数の市民が集い、コロナ禍でたまったうっぷんを晴らすかのように、「東京音頭」や「花笠音頭」などの曲に合わせて元気よく踊っておられました。また、子供たちも金魚すくいなどに挑戦していました。
