What is this child passionate about?
An exhibition titled “Coffee Art Exhibition” (2023.11.27-12.3) held in the gallery “Haraiso” in the south eastern part of NISHIOGI.
Here is a collection of works painted with a single bamboo skewer using coffee that the artists freely selected and freely boiled down.
For example, take this picture of a kid concentrating intently on something. There is a message in the center of the picture that says, “Do (not) disturb.” According to the exhibitor, it expresses the genuineness of childhood, meaning “Don’t disturb me, but don’t leave me alone!”

この子は何に熱中しているのでしょうか？
西荻南東地区のギャラリー「ハライソ」で開催された展覧会（「コーヒー画展」＜2023.11.27-12.3＞）。
画家が自由に選びかつ自由に煮詰めた濃度のコーヒーを用いて、竹串1本で描いた作品群です。
例えばこの子供が何かに一心に集中している絵。画面中央に「Do (not) disturb」とある。出展者によれば、「邪魔しないで、しかし放ったらかしにしないで！」、といった子供のころの純粋さを表現したものとのことです。
