TROPICAL BIRD-LIKE FLOWER

The flower is reminiscent of colorful decorative feathers.

“Sutorerichia” or Strelitzia (also known as Gokurakutyouka or literally flower of bird of paradise) planted beside a productive green in NISHIOGI.

The flower is a perennial originated in South Africa. The appearance of gorgeous flowers blooming at the end of long stems is exactly like a bird of paradise.

Incidentally, the flower language of Strelitzia is, for example, pretentious love or tolerance. 

南国の鳥のような花

色鮮やかな飾り羽を彷彿させます。

西荻の生産緑地脇に植栽されている「ストレリチア（別名「ゴクラクチョウカ＜極楽鳥花＞」）。

南アフリカ原産の多年草。長い茎の先に華やかな花を咲かせる姿は、まさに極楽鳥そっくりです。

因みに、「ストレリチア」の花言葉は、例えば、気取った恋、寛容など。
