DISTINCTIVE POTTERY

Here are unique picture plates and ceramic boards full of animals.

An exhibition titled “Kentarou Kiln Spring Exhibition” (March 29-31, 2024) held in a gallery (“Gallery Nishiogi Yonsan”) near the south exit of JR NISHIOGIKUBO Station.

The artist commented,” I applied a rough white clay to the molded base soil, and after firing it, I took out the clay from droppers, and drew the outline of the patterns, and then glazed them on top. I love animals, so I also created various round, uneven picture plates of animal shapes.”

JR西荻窪駅南口近くのギャラリー（「ギャラリー西荻43」）で開催された展示会（「けんたろう窯 春の展示会」）（2024.3.29～3.31）。

作者の言「成形した素地にザラザラ感のある白化粧土を塗り、素焼きの後、スポイトの粘土を取り出して絵柄の輪郭を描き、その上に施釉しています。動物が好きなので、いろいろな動物の姿を凹凸のある丸形の絵皿にも収めてみました。」
