This is a collection of works filled with the thoughts of craftspeople.
An exhibition titled The Two-Person Brand Exhibition: Cashmere Wear and Jewelry (2024.1.27-1.29) held in the free space “Haraiso” in the southeastern part of NISHIOGI.
According to the exhibitor, this ring, for example, is the embroidery using fine glass beads from Europe that are about 100 years old.
On the other hand, it is said that cashmere wear is made using highest quality cashmere grown by nomads in Inner and Outer Mongolia, and is made based on a philosophy called “Cruelty free.”
2つのブランドの出会い
匠の思いが詰まった作品群です。
西荻南東地区のフリースペース「ハライソ」で開催された「カシミアウェアとジュエリー、2つのブランドの2人展」（2024.1.27～29）。
出展者によれば、例えばこの指輪は、100年くらい前の古い欧州産の細かいガラスビーズを使った刺繍とのことです。
一方、カシミアウェアは、内・外モンゴルの遊牧民が育てている最高級カシミアを使用し、「Cruelty free」と呼ばれている理念に基づいて作られているそうです。
