第51回「西荻骨董好きまつり」が、10月12日、23店の出店者を得て井荻會舘で開催されました。
例えば、この南京染付の皿。真ん中の文様は五重塔かと思いきや、秋田市から来られた出店者曰く「それは漢字の『寿』という字です。この皿は、清時代以前の作品で、その漢字の周りには、中国で吉祥の鳥といわれるフクロウなど動植物が描かれています。」
また、赤褐色のユーモラスな小鉢は、明治初期の備前焼（岡山県）で、内側と裏側で「福は内、鬼は外」を表現したものだそうです。
一方、ブロンズ製のカメの置物は、水戸金工師の北川北仙による大正時代の作品とのことです。
