第50回「西荻骨董好きまつり」が、4月13日、21店の出店者を得て井荻會舘で開催されました。
例えば、このカップ。先日、香港のオークションで世界中の注目を集めたのは中国の磁器の「チキンカップ」ですが、これは、美しい花鳥の絵柄の「横浜焼」です。出店者のコメント「1859年の横浜開港以降、同地で作られた陶磁器は横浜焼と呼ばれ、主に欧米に輸出されて高く評価されました。このカップはその里帰り品です。」
一方、一対の置物は、江戸時代末期の、七福神のうち「恵比須」と「大黒天」の一刀彫とのこと。
台湾からお越しの若いお客様は、ミニ扇子などお気に入りの“日本的なもの”をお買い求めになったようです。
