It was an event under clear skies and with the smell of earth.
On Sunday, October 20, 2024, “Shinmei-Dori Morning Market” was held on Shinmei Street in NISHIOGI with the participation of 36 stores.
Take these beetle larvae, for example. The children shouted in a loud voice, “We’re going to give you some beetle larvae.” It is said that if you raise them by changing the soil for beetles at appropriate times, they will become adults next winter.
Meanwhile, here is a miniature painting of a cat. It is drawn with colored pencils on a wooden frame. Next to the painting, the artist’s thoughts are written as follows: ” I like to be a free spirit. I like a cat.”
2024年10月神明通りあさ市
晴天下、土のにおいもするイベントでした。
2024年10月20日（日）、西荻の神明通りで36店参加により開催された、「神明通りあさ市」。
例えば、このかぶと虫の幼虫。子ども達が大きな声を張り上げて「かぶと虫の幼虫を差し上げます」と叫んでいました。適当なタイミングでかぶと虫用の土をいれかえつつ育てると、来年の冬には成虫になるそうです。
一方、この猫のミニ絵画。木製のフレームに色鉛筆で描かれています。絵の脇に「I like to be a free spirit. I like a cat.」と作者の思いがつづられています。
