PLEASANT FAN ART

Decorated fans with heartwarming designs will send a cool breeze.

An exhibition of fan art is being held at the antique toy store (“Toritori”) in the northwestern part of NISHIOGI until October 13th.

There are many fans with nostalgic designs from Taisho (1912-1926) and Showa (1926-1989) eras, such as children playing happily and Ebisu rejoicing at a big catch of fish.

微笑ましいうちわ絵

心温まる絵柄の「うちわ」で涼しい風を送ります。

西荻・北西地区の骨董玩具店（「とりとり」）で、10月13日まで開催中の「うちわ絵展」。

子どもが楽しく遊ぶ姿とか、大漁に喜ぶえびすさまの姿など、大正・昭和時代の懐かしい絵柄の「うちわ」が多数並んでいます。
