BUTTERFLY SHAPED FLOWER

This is a beautiful pure white butterfly-shaped flower.

“Hardenbergia violacea (Japanese name: Komachi wisteria)” blooming over the gatepost of a private home in NISHIOGI. It is an evergreen climbing shrub originated in southern, eastern Australia and Tasmania.

The English name is said to come from the wife of the German Count Hardenberg, and the Japanese name comes from the fact that the flower appearance resembles wisteria.

Incidentally, the flower language of this white flower is, for example, “a destined encounter.”

蝶形の花

純白の美しい蝶形花です。

西荻の民家の門柱越しに咲いている「ハ－デンベルギア（和名：小町藤）」。オーストラリア南部、東部、タスマニア原産のつる性常緑低木。

この英名は、ドイツ人のハーデンベルグ伯爵の夫人名に由来し、和名は、その花姿が藤に似ていることによるとのことです。

因みに、この白花の花言葉は、例えば、「運命的な出会い」。
