FLOWERS RESEMBLING CHERRY BLOSSOMS

Like cherry blossoms, these are dainty flowers that make you feel the spring.

“Sakurasou” or Primrose, planted in planters in front of a rental room facility along the “Kyufudo” in NISHIOGI. They are perennial plants originated in China.

It is said that this species originally grows in moist places, but its numbers have decreased and it has been designated as a “near-threatened species” by the Ministry of the Environment.

Incidentally, the flower language of these flowers is, for example, “first love.” 

桜に似た花

桜と同じく春を感じさせる可憐な花です。

西荻の「旧府道」沿いにあるレンタルルーム前のプランターに植栽されている「サクラソウ（桜草）」。中国原産の多年草。

本来は湿り気の多い場所で生育する種だそうですが、現在は数も少なくなり、環境省の「準絶滅危惧種」に指定されています。

因みに、この花の花言葉は、例えば「初恋」。
