A lion dance also came to celebrate the first market of the new year.
The January 2025 handmade market held in Iogi hall on Sunday the 26th.
The lion dance made its way around the venue, weaving its way through the exhibits from 41 exhibitors, while “biting heads” in prayer for the health and business prosperity of the participants.
There were also many creations suitable for the new year, including ornaments made of glass and resin called “Snake Figures” and decorations called “wood shavings flowers” made from shavings such as Japanese cypress, which gives off the scent of wood when water is poured on them.
2025年1月西荻手しごと市
新年初の市を祝って獅子舞もやってきました。
2025年1月26日（日）、井荻會舘で開催された「西荻手しごと市」。
獅子舞は、参加者の健康と商売繫盛を願って「頭噛み」をしながら、出展者41店による展示品の間をぬって会場内を巡っていました。
また、「ヘビフィギュア」と題するガラスと樹脂で作製した置物や、「かんなくずフラワー」と称する、ヒノキなどの木のかんなくずで作り、水をかけると木の香りがする飾りものなど新春らしい作品が多く並んでいました。
