Let’s go on a trip with a tea basket!
An exhibition and sale “Iseya Tea Basket and Tea Box Exhibition” (2025.4.26-5.11) is on now at the gallery “Juan (Iseya)” in the northwestern part of NISHIOGI.
This is a particular collection of tea baskets and tea boxes that was collected over many years by the late former owner of “Iseya.”
The “Musashinozu Fan-shaped Tea Box”, which was said to have been a particular favorite of the late owner, seems to have included a beautiful “Furidashi” or a small candy container for small sweets made by the Meissen Kiln in Germany.

西荻北西地区のギャラリー「壽庵（伊勢屋）」で開催中の展示即売会（「伊勢屋の茶籠茶箱展」＜2025.4.26-5.11＞）。
「伊勢屋」の元オーナー（故人）が長年にわたり蒐集された、こだわりの茶籠・茶箱のコレクションです。
故人がとくにお気に入りだったという、この「武蔵野図扇形茶箱」には、ドイツ・マイセン窯製の美しい振出（ふりだし）も仕込まれたようです。
